J.D. Power and Associates, a global information services company that conducts customer satisfaction research in a number of different areas, has released its 2011 Auto Insurance Rankings.
The rankings are based on customer satisfaction rated in five separate areas: customer interactions with the insurer; price of premiums; types of policy offerings; policy billing and payment; and policy claims. Each company is rated on a 1,000 point scale. Ov

What does car insurance gap coverage include?

Gap coverage only covers one thing, the difference between the value of your vehicle and the amount of money you owe on a loan. The only time it kicks in is if your vehicle has been declared a total loss. If you rolled over a loan on a previous car, it will not cover that. Gap coverage is only useful if you are purchasing a new vehicle. Used vehicles have already lost much of their value and the amount you pay will reflect that. With new cars, the situation is much different. A new car will depreciate by 20% within the first year of ownership, over half of which occurs the minute you pull off the dealer’s lot. Why are 4-H kids trying to sell me license plates in Bloomington, IL?

Illinois is considering a new 4-H license plate. As part of drive to get the required 1,500 plates, 4-H members all over Illinois are trying to get your support. If it was a genuine 4-H member trying to get your support, they will have asked you to fill out a form and to provide $25. To generate more enthusiasm amongst the kids they will be honored at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield. If they don’t get the 1,500 plates the money will go directly to 4-H as a donation.
