Where is the VIN located?

The VIN can be found on several parts of the car. It is on the engine, hood, fenders , the driver’s side dashboard, the windshield, the driver’s side door or frame sill where the door closes. Sometimes it is in the glove box and it’s always on insurance documents and auto financing information.
