What states have radio chips in the licenses?

Currently four states have Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips in their licenses. Those four states are Vermont, New York, Michigan, and Washington. Other states, such as Florida, are considering adding them to driver licenses. Concerns about identity theft have slowed their installation in other states. Anyone with an RFID reader within range of the license can access the information on the chip.
