What are the repercussions from ignoring my car insurance cancellation notices?
Posted on July 22nd, 2011
You’ll lose your car insurance. Usually a car insurance company will be cancelling your coverage due to a failure on your part to pay the bill. This isn’t a situation you can ignore or avoid. If your premiums are too high, you need to contact your insurance agent. You could drop or lower coverage or raise your deductible in order to get a lower premium. If you are already as low as you can go, then you should see about getting some kind of payment plan in place so you don’t lose your insurance.
